Affiliate Disclosure
SmartPetPick is an independent pet product review site. To keep our research and reviews free for readers, we earn affiliate commissions when you buy through certain links on this site. This page explains exactly how that works—and the firewall between our revenue and our recommendations.
The Amazon Associates Program
SmartPetPick participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, this site earns commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on the site. These commissions come at no additional cost to you and help fund the independent research and reviews we publish.
Other affiliate programs
SmartPetPick also participates in other affiliate networks and brand affiliate programs, and may earn commissions when you buy from other brands and retailers through links on this site. These commissions also come at no additional cost to you.
How affiliate links work
Throughout our reviews and comparison tables you will find links to product listings on Amazon and other retailers. When you click one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer.
These links are marked as sponsored or nofollow where appropriate, and they never change the price you pay. Whether or not you use our links, you get the same product at the same price.
Our independence is not for sale
Affiliate relationships never influence our ratings, rankings, or editorial recommendations. No brand pays for a position in our comparisons, and a higher commission rate never moves a product up our list.
Our order of recommendations is decided by our research into real-world accuracy, battery life, subscription costs, and build quality — not by who offers the most lucrative payout.
Your trust matters most
We only link to products we have researched carefully and would genuinely recommend to a fellow dog owner. If we cannot stand behind a product, we do not link to it — even when an affiliate program is available.
If you have questions about how we earn money or how a specific recommendation was reached, please reach out through our contact page.
